The 1,700-square-foot flagship will be located in Larchmont Village and set to open its doors in early 2023. The business will also continue its 600 store rollout with JCPenny. Diarrha N’Diaye-Mbaye launched Ami Colé in 2021 with $1 million in seed funding and three products to serve the needs of melanin-rich skin. The brand is currently sold at Thirteen Lune, Violet Grey, and Goop, and will roll out at 277 US Sephora doors beginning December 30. WWD reported that industry sources estimate Ami Colé will reach $2.5 million in sales this year.Uni, the Marc Atlan-designed refillable bodycare system created by former tech founder Alexandra Keating, launched last year direct-to-consumer with $4 million in celebrity seed funding.
